My last day in York was the sort of day that holidays are made of. Beautiful sunshine, perfect for me to start my day off with a visit to the Jorvik Centre. Went to York, UK, for three weeks last year:) It was awesome:D It was a schooltrip so in consisted in some school and a lot of drinking:P

We were able to take two 15 day tours through Brendon Tours with a few extra days in London between.

Today we walked from our B&B to the walled inner city of York.  It's about 1/2 mile from our B&B to the Monk Gate, so named because its near the Minster and was used by the monks.York Minster is a fascinating gothic cathedral, even more impressive than Westminster Abbey.  They let us take pictures inside, and we climbed a very narrow spiral staircase to the top of the tower to get a view of York.  They also had a crypt tour that used audio devices to describe the histor...
