Yellowstone Vacation Guide

Yellowstone is an incredible park and unlike anywhere else in the world. Established in 1872, it is the first national park in the United States. It is located in the NW corner of Wyoming and stretches into Montana and Idaho. It is home to a huge variety of wildlife, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison and elk. Of course there is the collection of the world’s most extraordinary geysers and hot springs and also the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

Winters are cold and blanket the park with snow and provide many outdoor winter activities such as cross country skiing and snowmobiling. The summer is moderate and is peak season for hiking the various boardwalks in search of hot springs and geysers. There are also amazing buildings within Yellowstone. The Old Faithful Inn is one of the largest log structures in the world and the buildings around Mammoth Hot Springs date back to the late 1800s.

Yellowstone is one of the most incredible parks in the world.
