After leaving Moscow at 00.35 Saturday morning, we spent the next 33 hours aboard a train heading east towards Yekaterinburg. We opted for Plaskart seats, which comprise of 54 seats/beds, within a compartment. It was actually pretty comfortable and after a few beers, even relaxing! In 2000 I started to travel around the EurAzian continent. Not in one vacation ofcourse, there is work waiting for me at home, but in leg of 6 weeks. Every journey is about 3000 km long.

Off the train to stretch our legs for the day and see the town on Yekaterinburg! We managed to find the baggage at the train station amongst all the chaos, then went exploring. We found the main street and looked at the 'sights'...credit to the Lonely Planet otherwise we wouldnt have known what to do! Most museums didnt exist any more except for one- the photography museum....pretty strange but interesting all the same!
We stumbled across a restaurant called 'Sundays', and remembered…
