Pagosa is a winter wonderland, with Wolf Creek Pass Ski Resort at the overpass, sleigh rides, beautiful vistas, and year around soaks in the Resort Hot Springs right in town.

The little town is close enough to Mesa Verde Ruins, the Silverado train ride, Creede, Ouray, and Telluride for a day trip, but secluded enough to feel like a beautiful mountain getaway.
