Ye Olde Curiosity Shop Travel Reviews

Jun 13, 2002
What is the most unique shop you have ever been in? If you have been here, it will definitely be at the very top of your list. If you haven't been yet, when you do, it will be the one.

They are most famous for their sideshow-like museum with mummies, shrunken heads, rare and exotic artifacts, but they also offer a wide assortment of northwest native art, imported arts and crafts from around the world, as well as Seattle and Washington state souvenirs and memorabilia, novelties and gags, jewelry and collectibles.

It takes forever to make your way through this shop. You stop to look at nearly everything there, whether it is for sale or just on display. You may even find a crick in your neck after leaving this store, because there are so many things displayed up high, even on the ceiling.

But if you are ever in Seattle, this is as much of a place to see as the Space Needle. (And this one doesn’t charge the high price)

OurWorldTrip says: Now, visiting the Museum of Flight is one geeky thing to do and not really something a girl would enjoy. That's what I thought when 4 lads asked me to join them. But did I have a great time??? Absolutely!! This place is fanatastic and not only great for kids. Take a tour, it lasts for around 3...
