The House that Ruth Built Jun 03, 2011
I always wanted to visit Yankee stadium and unfortunately I didn't make it to the old stadium before it was torn down. The new stadium was awesome though.

I paid about $100 dollars for a ticket by the right field foul pole to see the Yankees vs. Red Sox in the first meeting of the teams in the new stadium in 2009.

The new stadium has a cool monument park that you can walk through behind the right field fence. There is also a museum that houses all the World Series trophies and various memorabilia.

The beer and food were quite expensive, I paid twenty dollars for a beer and a hot dog. There are a lot of different food options and stores to buy souvenirs. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are a baseball fan and are in New York.

The New Yankee Stadium Jul 25, 2009
Although I am not a big baseball fan, when my husband asked if I wanted to go to a game with him, I jumped at the chance. I like any sport when it is live! So we took the "Yankee Express" train from Stamford, Connecticut and enjoyed the game on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon. We were seated in section 134, but after touring the stadium we decided there really is no bad seats. I actually liked the "nosebleed" seats, they give you a birds eye view! Things were a little costly, a draft beer in a souvenir mug will cost you $10, a bag of popcorn $7, and when I tried to buy my daughter a tank top with some rhinestones over the "NY" and saw an $80 pricetag, I quickly put it back on the rack. All in all it was a fun day despite the fact that the yankees lost.

Awesome experience at not an awesome price Aug 09, 2009
I went to an early August game against the Red Sox. It was the last of a 4 game series. If you've never been to NYC in the summer it is super hot. Here's a little tip before you get to the stadium. Plan on getting there early to find parking. I guess that goes for anywhere but you really don't want to park on the street in the Bronx. Also, beers are $10 a piece so you may want to pre-game a little and hit up the bar before you get there. I found that it is better to spend the money and get good seats than skimp on the funds and sit a mile away from the action. The seats behind the dugout are predictably expensive but in this new stadium it is alittle out of reach for the casual baseball fan. If you are a Yankees fan and are making your first trip then you should definitely spend the money and get as close to field level as possible. I wouldn't go more than the second deck in the outfield. Yankee stadium is a homerun haven and seats in the lower two levels of the outfield are reasonable. I paid just over $100 a ticket for my seats and Teixeira hit a HR ball in my section. Despite the expensive beer it was a wonderful experience and will definitely be going back this coming year.

Tour one of the most famous sports venues in the world. Yankee Stadium boast so much history it is amazing. Hosting the New York Yankees, the winningest team in baseball, since 1923 this place is filled with memories. You don't have to be a sports fan to even take the tour. During the tour you get to learn a little history of the stadium and the Yankees themselves. One of the most memorable moments of the tour is when you get to enter Monument Park where you will see Yankees' retired numbers, a collection of monuments and plaques pertaining to the New York Yankees and other events to take place at the stadium and in the city. You actually get to stand on the field during the tour and look in the dug outs. The tour guide we had was really friendly and knowledgeable. A great tour for any baseball fan.

Closed Fall of 2008.... there is a new Yankee Stadium in it's Place! Jan 02, 2007
So I've never been a big Yankee fan but I just had to go see this park...well, not only because my friend wanted to but because of the history around this team. But the tour was really awesome. It was very thorough and you got to go everywhere in the stadium. We went in and got to see the press box as they told about the history and what the Yankees are about. Then we went to the locker room (we couldn't take pictures) but I got to see Johnny Damon's uniform. They also took us to the dug out where we got to sit on the bench as they told us more about the players from now and before. Then we ended the tour at Yankee Monument Park and got to see attributes to players like Yogi Berra, Lou Gehrig, the Great Bambino, and Mickey Mantle.
