Tour one of the most famous sports venues in the world. Yankee Stadium boast so much history it is amazing. Hosting the New York Yankees, the winningest team in baseball, since 1923 this place is filled with memories. You don't have to be a sports fan to even take the tour. During the tour you get to learn a little history of the stadium and the Yankees themselves. One of the most memorable moments of the tour is when you get to enter Monument Park where you will see Yankees' retired numbers, a collection of monuments and plaques pertaining to the New York Yankees and other events to take place at the stadium and in the city. You actually get to stand on the field during the tour and look in the dug outs. The tour guide we had was really friendly and knowledgeable. A great tour for any baseball fan.

So I've never been a big Yankee fan but I just had to go see this park...well, not only because my friend wanted to but because of the history around this team. But the tour was really awesome. It was very thorough and you got to go everywhere in the stadium. We went in and got to see the press box as they told about the history and what the Yankees are about. Then we went to the locker room (we couldn't take pictures) but I got to see Johnny Damon's uniform. They also took us to the dug out where we got to sit on the bench as they told us more about the players from now and before. Then we ended the tour at Yankee Monument Park and got to see attributes to players like Yogi Berra, Lou Gehrig, the Great Bambino, and Mickey Mantle.
