Yallingup is very small coastal country touwn, located 266km south of the Western Australian capital of Perth. It is renowned for a few things, the main one being that it is one of the prime surfing locations in Western Australia. The unusual name is an aboriginal word, meaning 'Place of Love'. Yallingup is situated in the South Western corner of Western Australia near the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park. It marks the start of the extensive Wine Growing region and also has a boutique brewery amongst other gourmet offerings. Just out of Yallingup are several interesting and significant limestone caves to explore. It's surfing beaches are legendary - including - 3 Bears, Smiths, Injidup and Yallingup. Fishing is also popular.
