Yahualica, Jalisco - Yahualica de Gonzalez Gallo - TravBuddy

Yahualica is a great town in the State of jalisco. It is ony about 3 hours north of Guadalajara. the location is great because it is surrounded by mountains which keeps the town quiet and relaxed. If you like taking in the scenery and getting the real "Mexico" experiance you should go there. Most of the people who live there are obreros or farmers. the people of the town are the nicest you could come across. This place even offers great parties if thats what your looking for. the fiestas patrias of the town are held at the end of September. That is my favorite time to go because you get traditional saint procesions during the days and awesome celebrations at night. There are also a couple of bailes or dances towards the end of the fiestas in which the whole town goes down and the dancing doesnt stop till sun up. and if all that doesnt get you interested then the Toros and Enanito Toreros might. the Matches are held on the last two days of the fiestas which are typically the 29th and 30th.
Well this is a great town, i really cant express it enough. my father grew up there and i've been going there all my life. The town and the people are like no other.
