Scruffy hotel in a bad neighbourhood that attracts a lot of touts, thieves and stalkers. The hotel itself had no running water when I was there. When I went down to complain and ask for a refund, the staff had all gone home! (6 or 7 o'clock in the evening!) I could not even wash my hands let alone the rest, after having been on a 10 hour bus ride with broken airconditioning. Also there was a very loud karaoke bar just across the street.
It was cheap but still one of the most expensive hotels I stayed at in the whole of Tanzania, and definitely not worth the money. Jambo Inn is much better, or try one of the others in that neighbourhood. |
