The staff was nice but the rooms were unclean, smelled bad and were under construction. There was a monkey in the hallway (not cute, quite scary) and a mouse in the lobby.

Oct 18, 2006 The YMCA is in a quiet location. Rooms were more than OK ... refurbished rooms were also available and those were similar to a nice hotel. The aircon stopped working during the night, which was not good considered it is only available with additional payment. When we mentioned this to the clerk next morning, she walked away and never came back ... I guess that's her style ... if you have a problem, ignore it and it will go away! At around EUR35 per night including meals, it is horribly expensive for Delhi. The dinners were quite good ... but one has to remember that a meal like that costs very little in a restaurant in Delhi. Hence we found a much better hotel later in our stay.
