 Great hostel Mar 17, 2009
Railway Square was extremely clean. The lobby was, dining area, kitchen and pool were all nice and clean. Yes, there is a small pool here. I stayed in a 3-bed room with 2 of my friends. The room and beds were clean and not old. There were lockers in the room. The shared bathroom was very clean and is not always crowded like some other hostels. Some rooms were shaped like railway cars, but I didn't stay in those. Overall, an excellent hostel and it's right by the train station.

The Railway Square YHA literally is at the rail station, practically an extention of the platform, the rooms are old traincars. It's really cute.
Apart from the occaisional downpour it's quite a lovely day. Starting up a Circular Quay, by the Opera House and ferry… you know it's fancy when you get a fork with your muffin |

The guy did a quick check and said there were beds available at the Railway YHA, in Railway Square just up the road. I sauntered along, booked into a room, and braced myself for the mission ahead; getting a job and a place to live and working for the next 4 months.
