YHA Christchurch City Central Reviews
Clean friendly YHA in the heart of Christchurch! Nov 14, 2005
I stayed in this hostel for a total of 4 nights and had a very nice time. It's located in the heart of the city, and is literally 10 minutes walk to the city Cathedral square. You can buy breakfast for 3NZ$. the rooms are clean, safe and so are the bathrooms. The crowd is very friendly as well. Tourism in New Zealand is primarily made up of Europeans - I met lots of Dutch and English during my stay here.
The best part to me was the amount of information available. Lots of brochures, and the front desk itself does a lot of trip booking for you. The hostel is also very very safe: you need to ring the bell to get in to the hostel after 11pm, and all rooms of course have electronic key access.
