Xochimilco está al sur de la Ciudad de México y es un lugar donde hay canales e islotes como era la ciudad de México Tenochtitlán en el pasado. La ciudad de México se encuentra ubicada en el Valle del Anáhuac y cuando llegaron los aztecas a residir aquí se ubicaron en una isla (Ciudad de México)enmedio del lago de Texcoco.
Ahora Xochimilco es un lugar turístico que les recomiendo visitar, hay paseos en trajineras (lanchas)y puedes comer y tomar a bordo.
Por las noches tambien hay recorridos en bote y cuentan leyendas mexicanas.

The second tour I got for us is one that takes you to Xochimilco early in the day and then after you go to the Ciudad Universitaria of UNAM (the best University in latinamerica). The day started started quite weirdly because they were kind of confused about where everyone was going and we had to change vehicles quite a few times before we actually got inside the correct one. I mention this because there was a brazilian guy that got really annoyed at started arguing angrily with the guys, but …
