In Xigatse we visited the Tashilompo Monastery, which was huge and contained many active monks.  Here we bumped into the three stooges of the monk world, each of the guys was about 70 years old (if you can live that long in this place), all with a great smile, allowed us to sit with them and talk, take their photos without asking for money, and clown around with them.  I even managed to get a photo of one of the Monks outside a prayer hall swinging his prayer beads in one hand and t...
