Xie Xie is located in the Theater District of Manhattan (New York City). Being a hugh fan of vietnamese sandwiches with sriracha sauce for which Xie Xie is known for, I had to give this restaurant a try. I sampled the Asian Lobster Roll combo (sandwich, chips and a drink) which was delicious and worth the price of the Theater District of Manhattan. The 1000 year old ice cream was interesting, I am mystified and still trying to figure out what is in the middl and how the ice cream got it's name "1000 year old".

Please try the 1000 year old ice cream sandwich and let me know what you think.

The restaurant is very small and gets very loud and crowded with people during lunch. Get to Xie Xie early to get a seat outside on the sidewalk to enjoy your sandwich and take in the lunch crowd scene - people watchin make it more fun. Next week I'm going back to try the Vietnamese BBQ Beef sandwich.
