Xamanek is a cool hostel located in Guatemala City, probably the best youth hostel in town, near bars, clubs, restaurants, theaters, malls all this just walking distance.

Right in the heart of the "Zona Viva", you can walk from here to some of the city's best museums and markets, relax either in our gardens or in one of the nice cafés around the block, or take the bus to visit our major monuments.

If you're looking for a hostel in Guatemala City with excellent travel tips, Guatemala tourism information, multilingual staff, cool guests and perfect location, i recommend Xamanek Student Inn, my friend Tayler stayed there while his visit to Guatemala City, and as far i know, he was pleased with the place.

You will find it easy to discover the city and move around Guatemala City from our hostel. The neighborhood could be compared to the Village in New York, the Latin Quarter in Paris, or Las Ramblas in Barcelona (just to take a few examples), with some of the best places to hang out just a few blocks away, the country's largest museums accessible by foot and easy access to the bus terminals. Guatemala City is knowed to be the Hub, to all mayor cities in Guatemala, and Central America.
