XCream Ho Chi Minh City Reviews
Xcream Sep 10, 2009
I stopped for ice cream on my way between the museum of fine arts and the war remnants museum in Ho Chi Minh. This café seems to be part of a small chain, and is very nice. The atmosphere is light and airy, and the décor is calming and peaceful. The service is excellent. There is a balcony, although I was not used to the heat yet and stayed indoors in the airconditioned upstairs.
The café boasts that it serves New Zealand Icecream, specifically. I had never really thought of Zew Zealand in terms of ice cream expertise, but it does make sense as more of a dairy producer than Vietnam. I had an icecream and an iced coffee, and Iain had a cake and some icecream. I don’t remember exactly how much they cost, but it was reasonable.
This is a great place to get a laid back coffee and snack on your way round the city. I really recommend it.
