 Great beer, Great food in Denver Sep 25, 2008
For starters, Wynkoop brewery in Denver may at first seem like your average, run of the mill brewery. I mean, they have burgers and the token six beers that they brew themselves. But, the silver lining comes with the little things they are able to throw in there, such as the Jalapeno beer (which is amazing, I might add) and the buffalo burger (which is also quite tasty). The Dagwood sandwich is unbelievable - its huge! The atmosphere is kind of ho-hum, with tables and bar stools everywhere, and a couple of TVs thrown in for good measure. What it lacks in atmosphere, it more than makes up with its great beer and no-nonsense food. Solid place to hang out after the game.

Good food and beer. Particuarly liked the pumpkin beer and the Rockies beer. The Dagwood sandwich was REALLY good.

Morning - Went to downtown Denver to walk around some more and eat. We ate at the Wynkoop Brewery - the food was good and so was the beer. We got a flight of everything including the pumpkin beer (I liked it a lot!).
