Spectacular Synchronicity! Jul 17, 2014
Located in the Wroclaw Exhibition ground with Szczytnicki Park and Centennial Hall (see my review - http://www.travbuddy.com/Szczytnicki-Park-and-Centennial-Hall-v439223#298900) is this splendid multimedia fountain, which are popular these days. It was built in 2009 and one of the largest in Europe. If you visit the area in the daytime it seems just an ordinary fountain with spouting jets of water and surrounded by a pergola walkway, but during the night it comes to life in color, music and motion. There are hundreds of water jets that can create screens of water. Images projected on the screens of water shimmer and move, synchronized to music and computer controlled colored lighting for a really spectacular show that has a WOW factor. It only operates May to October, and worth checking out for a show.

I have some photos here and a video to see of the fountain in action too, a scientific fountain show. Some photos of that show taken by the conference photographers are added here. Wroclaw Fountain VIDEO link - https://vimeo.com/156066749

Photos never do this kind of thing justice and it something to see in action. I actually have a video of it and should post it sometime.

The night show was a special performance for participants of the International Conference on Luminescence (ICL), hence the scientists appearing on the sheets of water.
