You should definitely hang out in Wrigleyville before and after the game. There are TONS of bars all around the stadium so it's easy to walk around and see what type of place looks like your scene. Most of them are on Clark st just south and north of Addison. The most popular places for people to go around gametime is the Cubby Bear (corner of Clark and Addison) and Murphey's Bleachers (on the other side of the stadium on Sheffield just north of Addison). If you are looking to eat before or after the game I would recommend The Vines or Red Ivy (both just south of Addison on Clark). Their bar food is much better than your typical bar food. The Vines is pretty low key and they have an awesome patio and rooftop. Another one of my favorite spots is an Irish pub called Casey Morans just north of Addison on Clark.

(I think if you’re a Cubs fan, you kindof have to get used to it • the last time they were champions was back in 1908!).
We followed the crowd out to the row of bars that line the streets in Wrigleyville. Ended up in a bar called Sluggers dancing the late afternoon away….

I get off at Wrigleyville and I get to see my first view of Wrigley Field from outside. It is a historic stadium for the National League. I walk around and check out the famous sign from outside. I go into this place and get to my seat. I did not realize… Day 4 of Chicago Adventure |
