Wrexham (Wrecsam in Welsh) is a town in North Wales that has been pushing for city status for over 5 years. It has a population of close to 70,000.
Wrexham has a direct rail link to London (2 hours 30 mins journey time) but is closer to Liverpool (40 minute drive or 1 hour 10 minute train journey) It is home to the oldest venue for international football the "Racecourse Ground" (still being used) in the world. It has a reputation for a good nightlife and indeed there is a strip of bars down one of the roads in the town centre. With 2 main clubs "Central Station" and "Liquid/Envy".

Wrexham, Wales, UK -› -› ...
Well I feel as though it is really happening now. Have had a lot of hassel these last few days. The tickets hadn't arrived the central heating went on the blink, it's off completely at the moment. Have had a plumber back and too for the last few days, the pipe work is supposed to be ok now, but the boiler has broken down, am awaiting an engineer.
Back to the adventure, the tickets arrived by "special delivery" this morning. Elaine arrived shortly after. Couldn't find the air...
