We followed the half-mile dirt trail across a meadow, through a copse of trees, over a small stream, and up a steeper hill--the path narrowed considerably here--to view this waterfall. Although not high, it is wide. Since waterflow was low in early August, Wraith Falls was a shimmering curtain rather than a powerful rush of water. Although not catch-your-breath-amazing, it was a peaceful sight. We also were lucky enough the spot a badger on the return hike to the parking lot which had more than enough spaces for visitors.

This is a short and easy hike, great for families with younger kids.
