This is a sight a little off the beaten road, a little over an hour north and west of calgary. It's a site worth visiting though, and is a prime example of the quirk and originality of Canada. Admission is cheap at just $2 for this trailer-sized museum of stuffed gophers set up in various scenes. It's an amusing stop and the gophers are actually pretty cute! A small gift shop is also on site.

Torrington isn't hard to find, but it's easy to miss. At only about 3 blocks in length, you'll pass the town, then look back and think "did we miss it?". If you're looking for something else to do in town, you'll be hard pressed, but Torrington does have one other tourist attraction, well eleven actually. The small town really embraces the Gopher museum and have celebrated it by painting each of their fire hydrants as a member of Clem the Gopher's family. A map of where each of these hydrants are located can be found at the museum gift shop, and looking for each of them will give you a quick (and I mean quick) tour of the town. And why not... there's nothing else to do!
