Workmans club Dublin Reviews
Great Music Feb 03, 2014
This place usually has great music.
On a busy night (weekend) the place is usually VERY full. On such a night they usually have different music on different floors. On the ground floor it's usually Indie Rock, and upstairs is either more electronic or old school tunes. (I'm usually downstairs in this scenario).
There is a small dance area on both floors, with the ground floor one being larger.
The prices are average for this area.
The best thing about The Workmans, apart from the music, is that it stays open until 4am and there is no charge at the door.
There is a large smoking area upstairs, and the Bison bar next door is also accessible from inside The Workmans.
Midweek, the place is usually open till about 3am, depending on the crowd, which is still quite good for Dublin. Also, with a much smaller crowd the place is usually more chilled out and can be quite relaxing, with nice open fires in winter with that nice turf smell wafting throughout :)
