Wombats Vienna "The Lounge"

I origionally planned to stay at "The Base" because i heard it was amazing and it had a great bar and such, but stupid me booked the wrong one and i ended up staying at "The Lounge" instead. Although i am quite glad that i made the mistake. The hostel had a great bar and the rooms and staff were quite nice, never had any problems really. Met lots of amazing people and had a great time. The Breakfast was great, it was cheap and all you can eat, and it's not some crummy bread and butter breakfast, its quality! Great time and will defenitly stay there again!

The Wombats is probably one of the better known and most popular hostel in Vienna, Austria.

I've recommended it to numerous people and have checked it out myself several times.

It's very clean, neat and very well presented.

The staff are very friendly and have good access to lots of information.

There is a good kitchen, lounge, popular bar and lots of other facilities.

The hostel is also very well located just behind Westbahnhof. This is a major train station in and out of Vienna and there is a good chance you will be arriving here if coming by train from the north or west.

The hostel is also on Mariahilfer strasse which is a very popular and busy shopping street. From here you can easily walk (15minutes) or catch the undergroung (2minutes) into the city centre.

The prices are also reasonable!
