On arrival into Sydney, I hired a car and took myself off for a lovely drive from Sydney to Goulburn via the coast road through the Royal National Park, south to Wollongong, then up the Macquarie Pass to Robertson in the Southern Highlands and on to Goulburn. Tuesday
We left Bateman's Bay at about 10am, got a lift to the bus stop which was awesome as it was pouring rain. The ride to Wollongong was 4 hours long. I ended up sitting next to an Aussie guy my age and we watched Eurotrip on my Ipod. He offered for us to stay at his place in Sydney, which I might have to take up lol. Today I paid a visit to the Nan Tien Buddhist Temple Complex which is a short train hop out of Wollongong. You can read up more information about the temple and what goes on there - i.e. Monks doing ninjitsu training and old ladies smashing concrete blocks with their bare hands! C'est ici que commence notre grande boucle... Le Royal National Park est le plus ancien parc national d'australie...
