Wokplaza Meppel Reviews
Cheap all-inclusive Asian reaturant Jun 14, 2009
This restaurant is the first all-inclusive restaurant in Meppel. Basically you pay a set fee per person and for children per year of their age, and you can eat and drink as much as you like. You can a two hour or three hour sitting.
When you arrive you will be seated and the process of wokking is explained. You then go to the the food area and you can choose from two soups, lots of buffet choices or you can go for the fresh stuff and get one of the chefs to wok it for you. They also have the added feature of Tepanyaki, a hot plate where a chef prepares your food.
All the food is fresh, looks good and tastes good. There are "children's" options too for children who are fussy eaters. There is also a play area for the little ones.
There is a dessert buffet with fresh fruit, ice cream, apple pie and more. Coffee and tea are also included.
You can go back and get more food as often as you want within the time you have. You don't have to book in advance as there is plenty of room ,and you don't have to tell them beforehand how long you're staying either.
There is also a drinks bar where you can get your own drinks. Plenty of choice here too, with plenty of soft drinks, water, wines and beers. There is alcohol free beer too. The same rule applies: you can drink as much as you like.
The only downside of this place is that it is incredibly big and not very cozy. Not a place for a romantic dinner I'm afraid! Before this was a restaurant it was a cinema and later a dance school.
For the smoker's among us: there is a smoking room too.
