Woburn Safari Park Jun 07, 2011
Woburn Safari Park.

An amazing day out for all the family. I went the other day with 2 of my friends (ages 23-24) and we loved it. Woburn is what is says it is, a Safari Park, you drive your own car around the course and see alsorts of animals from lions and tigers to giraffes and rhinos. A lot of the animals do get a bit close so I wouldn’t recommend going in your Ferrari, my favourite part is the monkeys, mainly because you always see them jumping from car to car.

Check the website for prices but I went the other day (June 2011) and it was £19.95 per person.

After the drive round part of the safari there is also a walk safari which includes reptiles, birds, a petting farm and various other animals such as kangaroo’s. There is also a gift shop, resturant, various drink and ice cream stops and picnic area. Throughout the day there are also different shows from birds of prey to an elephant walk around, which you get a timetable off at the entrance. The picnic area also has a like lake with has pretty swan boats on.
