The Cheese and Wine Chalet is a small cozy store/restaurant on the side of I-90. I went in to buy a bottle of wine and was immediately greated by a nice young man who asked me how I was and if I wanted to try a sample of wine today with a smile on his face.
The store front had a ton of wines that were made in Wisconsin wineries (the one I got for my friend was a Sweet Cherry wine from th eDoor Peninsula Winery, which is made with cherries instead of grapes)...going back there are a lot of types of meats and cheeses to buy and a deli in the back where you can get a nice home made sandwich. I got a honey ham sandwich with provolone cheese on wheat bread. I took one bite into the sandwich and my taste buds melted and sand out loud. This was probably sandwich I have ever tasted.
