Vilnius has some really nice places that are definitely worth visiting. One of such places is winery “Bistro 18”. The name is not typical for the winery, but everything else is just perfect. It’s a family own winery – both owners (husband (lithuanian) and wife (irish)) work there as a waiters and warm welcomes every guest. Atmosphere is so cozy and pleasant, that you just don’t want to leave the place.

Location. The winery is located in the downtown of Vilnius (Stikliu str. 18), in one or the narrow historical pedestrian street.

Place: “Bistro 18” places 79-80 people at the moment, has 3 halls with different surroundings. Right in the winery there is a small but stylish wine store, where you can find more then 80 sorts of wines. Moreover, there are more then 1600 bottles of wine lying on the shelves in the last hall of the winery. The view is really great!

Menu: Winery “Bistro 18” has a narrow but very specific menu. All the courses are well known in Europe. The French kitchen chief prepares high quality viands – only fresh products are used. The menu changes 4 times a year – it depends on seasonality, because they mostly use ingredients of the season. If you don’t find what you like on the menu – the chief could make you anything you like, of course if will have proper products.

Prices: Average price of main course is around 6 euros, bottle of wine costs from 18 to 50 euros.

If you will be visiting Vilnius – I highly recommend this place as one of the places to spend romantic or just cozy evening with tasty food and glass of good wine.
