Windows' Cafe Ho Chi Minh City Reviews
Hip and happening Nov 18, 2009
After walking around in the Reunification Palace for hours, my husband and I were dying for a nice cold drink and a place to sit for a while. In the street adjacent to the park in front of the Reunification Palace we ran into the Windows' Cafe, a hip and happening place for local youths.
It is quite large with a huge terrace stuffed with umbrellas and seating areas across two floors on the inside. We decided to go for a (rare) seat at the terrace and watched the young people, all stylishly dressed, around us. We were the only western people there, which made it even more enjoyable.
The music was American pop (not too recent, very hip for Vietnam)and they have excellent 'Croque Monsieurs'.
