Williams is the I-40 town that you stop at to visit the Grand Canyon, the best I can tell. The Grand Canyon Railway leaves from Williams and takes two and a half hours to get to the Canyon. That sounds like it might be fun.

American canyons and national parks are my next love!

Phil and I took a bus to the Grand Canyon for a day. It wasn't enough time to really appreciate the canyon but we have promised eachother to make it a goal to hike into the canyon one day!

I flew from Washington DC to Longbeach CA then my immediate family and I piled into a minivan for a superfast attempt at crossing the US. I took pictures, most of which are from the back seat of the tinted window minivan, but some of which are through the windshield and a few are actually from times we stopped. Enjoy.

Am sitting in a sweet-little coffee house in an enchanting town on the western side of Arizona called Williams...am awestruck at the beauty and the people... met a woman in the Whistle Stop Bookstore who  I had an immediate connection with...she is planning on opening a place connected to the bookstore that will have yoga... and guess what?? she is looking for a yoga teacher... huh? interesting!! Since I am looking into yoga teacher training in Sedona this fall... anyway... Last ni...
