City of Williams, Arizona and Kaibab National Forest Service Visitor Center Mar 24, 2012
Driving from Flagstaff, Arizona to Kingman, Arizona, I stopped off in Williams, Arizona to purchase gas for the rental car and also to purchase something to eat. The City of Williams and Kaibab National Forest Service Visitors Center is located across the street from the Williams Railroad Depot. In addition to offering free maps, directions, use of clean restrooms, and suggestions on places to visit while in Williams, inside of the building is a wonderful little museum that has on display several interpretive exhibits that informs visitors on the history of Williams, Arizona as well as the Forest Service and about conservation. Overall my time in Williams, AZ was well spent.
