Small museum on old canal house Sep 05, 2009
This museum has been created due to the fact that a couple without children left their estate to the city under one condition that the city should open the house to the public.

You can imagine that you will find some old interiors here of an former influentual family. The basement was for the servants with kitchen and all in old style. The entrance floor and the second floor is still fully decorated the way it was and the top floor is now used as an exposition space since the couple living here were rather art collectors.

It is not a big museum but it will give you a good idea of the living standards in those days.
