Wildwood Inn Estes Park Reviews
Good accomodation by Rocky Mountains Jul 01, 2011
Wildwood Inn offers decent cabins/rooms close to Rocky Mountain National Park. It is located at around 10 minutes driving distance from the park.
I had been there with few friends during 4th July weekend in 2011. We had booked one of their Sundance suites around a month before arrival. It had 1 king bed in bedroom, 1 queen size bed in living room and a couch. There was equipped kitchen and a patio offering a very nice view of flat face of one of the peaks. The patio was definitely a great place to relax in the morning while sipping your morning tea and in the nights to gaze at stars. This is definitely one advantage of being close to nature.
There was also a 2 person hot tub in the living room. Also, there is a bigger hot tub at the property and guests can reserve that for free. You just have to let them know the time you want to use it in advance and they will unlock it for you.
At that time we had paid around $200 per night for three nights. They did require minimum 3 nights stay. Considering it was 4th July and very close to national park and it could accomodate 5 people, I thought it was decently priced.
On the property we did see a small cayote in the night and next day morning a full grown male elk had decided to make an apperance and his antlers were huge.
Overall we did have a great time there and I would definitely recommend that place.
