Wild Wadi Water Park in the heart of Dubai is a great escape from the heat of the Persian Gulf. Though Wild Wadi may not be the largest most advanced water theme park in the world it certainly provides more than enough entertainment to take up a day in the water. The "flow rider" near the front of the park is a big hit as people of all ages try their skills at boogie or surf boarding. My personal favorite is the inner-tube ride that has portions of the ride that go uphill, yes uphill. The food is a little pricey for the quality but what amusement park isn't? The hourly rain storm with the flash flood is a nice touch!

Being hot as it was in Dubai and the fact that nearly all
the attractions involved a shopping mall, I went to the Wild Wadi Water Park in
the morning. It was really a lot of fun because, in addition to the numerous
huge waterslides, they had this surfing pool with powerful jets of water to

A day out at the Wild Wadi water park
was enough to bring out the hedonist in anyone willing to give the
park's attractions a try, and its' location in between two prominent
landmark hotels, namely the ultra-opulent 7-star Burj Al Arab and
Jumeirah Beach hotel, made… 4 Arabian nights.... |

The next morning was hellishly hot so we decided to visit Wild Wadi, a massive water park in the western part of the city. Once inside, we claimed a recliner in the shade then went in search of fun activities. We weren’t the only ones. The place was packed full of fun-seekers, including we noticed… Dubai, U.A.E - Hustle and Bustle in the Middle East! |
