Wild Hare Travel Reviews

Jul 08, 2007
This tip depends on your preferences for music and wild night life, but I always made it a point to stop by the "Wild Hare", a brilliant reggae venue only a few blocks from Wrigley.

There is only a reasonable cover charge and they often have top-shelf reggae acts (like Ziggy Marley and Pato Banton!). Probably best to drop by after the game, but the vibe is always humming here. It is a young, boisterous crowd, which I am probably too old to enjoy any more, but in the day I treasured this place.

Recommended if you want to really feel like you have experienced Chicago. Address is included with this review and cover charge is $5 on weeknights, $10 Friday and $12 Saturday --- the full name for this venue = The Wild Hare and Singing Armadillo Frog Sanctuary, by the way!
The Wild Hare!

The most popular places for people to...

I've traveled all three classes and while the lie-flat first is the best, the economy is not that terrible. The flight attendants are excellent. The amenities are good (got a sleep mask, booties, and...
