so me, my aunt, uncle and cousin decided to go to Wiesbaden for the day. My other cousin Jodie was feeling ill so stayed behind. We went to a Fasanerie, an animal park in nearby Wiesbaden which had free admission. The park is set on many acres of land and is a very impressive and free place to visit. There were many animals roaming around, we saw many animals such as deer, bears and wolves (all behind fences of course!), the weather was lovely and the sun was very warm considering it was near...

    More wandering today. First we found a park near the hotel and walked through it, up a hill and into a very nice residential area. On our way back down the hill, we saw a KureHaus and Casino . . . .guess the idea was to clean you out in all definitions of the phrase. We wandered through the pedestrian mall again and found a side area that had another small park full of Roman fragments. I had no idea that the Romans colonized much north of Munich but either they made it to...

Great travel, great people. Had the opportunity to spend 10 days in Germany and travel between Frankfurt and Berlin while experiencing most of the Hessen region. Out of all my experiences during this trip, the German people were the best part of it! I cannot say enough positive comments about Germany, the Hessen region, JCI Germany and all its people.

Internship in Germany for 2 months, during the World Cup!! Plus lots of travel before, during and after. Fun fun.
