Whitstable Museum and Gallery Reviews
A lovely afternoon outing Jun 08, 2013
This is a lovely little museum tucked back off the main road through Whitsable. We went along to see the Peter Chushing at 100! exhibition which is currently on until the 23rd June 2013.
Admission £3, concs £2, child free, to a maximum of 2 per paying adult, child £1, thereafter, but as local residents it was free.
The children loved making their own darlik as well as being able to hunt for shark teeth, touch fossils and play 'schools'. It is very child friendly and many things they can handle or do.
The museum is full of local history and worth a visit if ever in Whitstable, a small seaside town famous for it's Oyster festival in July.
