Whitegate Inn by the Sea

We stayed at the Whitegate Inn for the for the first time this trip. It was beautifully appointed with antiques and Extremely clean compared to some other inns we had stayed at in the past which have a musty "old" smell. The Staff was very welcoming& accomodating and made every effort to make our stay a pleasant one. They made all reservations for us, suggested wineries to visit, even found us a dry-cleaners. The bedding...we just had to order for home. Featherbeds and linnens to die for. They also have a Wine and cheese tasting which was perfect as a prelude to a wonderful dinner at 955 Ukiah street restaurant, next door.Even if you are not staying there, come visit the gardens...
Oh and last but not least:Breakfast.The souffles they serve in the morning are absolutly scromptious- and they share the receipe.
Bottom line,you can't go wrong with the Whitegate Inn. All of the 7 rooms are different but similarly well appointed. And I believe they range in price for all budgets and they always have Specials.We are taking no more chances from now on and are exclusively Whitegate Inn customers.We'll see you soon...
