White Rose Hotel Pattaya Reviews
The other Jan 06, 2011
The White Rose Hotel, bears a similar name to the previous hotel I've stayed in the night before, the "White Inn". Structure-wise this hotel is compact in terms of size of the rooms available as well as the all too familiar bathroom style. A similar trend in bathrooms is noticeable as the shower nozzle is mounted almost directly over the sink and toilet area for the sake of space economics. There isn't anything fancy about the room's furnishing either. For 650 Baht, the value of the White Rose Hotel is decent due to its location to all the shops and bars in Pattaya's Walking street district. Amenities remain at its core, with basic cable TV and open bar available in each room. Security is rather decent, as the front desk ensures visitors show proper ID or their Hotel Key cards before entering their hotel rooms.
Customer service seemed mediocre, the clerks don't provide any special treatment to anyone, but will ensure some customer satisfaction in terms of carrying out customer requests, though could have been more receptive towards listening to customer complaints. The front clerks don't exactly handle stressful situations with most etiquette. Another issue was their air conditioning in their front lobby when we waited to receive our room. In humid Thailand, customers shouldn't be waiting in the heat before getting served. This aspect can easily deter visitors from relaxing in this hotel.
LIke all other hotels along Pattaya Beach, the White Rose serves its purpose by its location. Due to its location within close walking vicinity of everything, I will still barely recommend White Rose Hotel, but I can easily say that this is an equivalent to a bad Hotel in the United States. Visitors can find a better value than this if they look hard enough.
