Best Camping In The Rockies May 29, 2010
My favorite and most visited campground. 15 minutes walk to Jasper town center and a short drive to the Gondola. Just south of town on highway 93 and on the road to the gondola.

Usually Jasper has been our stopping point for road trips through BC, but occasionally we stay the weekend in Jasper and stay here.

The campsite is huge but there are bathrooms seemingly everywhere. After camping all throughout BC their bathrooms to camp sites ratio is definitely the best by far, and they are clean.

They have one central shower house with loads of shower stalls. Lots of green space and it is connected to all kinds of amazing hiking and biking trails. It is also on the start to the Icefields Parkway - otherwise known as the most scenic drive in the world according to National Geographic.

One of our favorite things to do in this area is walk back towards the river with our camping chairs and a small cooler and sit on the shore having a beer while the sun sets over the mountains.
