Impressive engineering work - Whispering Wall Feb 04, 2011
While in Adelaide Hills, you will cross the Whispering Wall, the retaining wall of the Barossa Reservoir. It might not sound that appealing, but if you have the chance stop here to admire this revolutionary engineering work.
What is so impressive here? Well the unique acoustic effects: words whispered at one side can be clearly heard at the other, more than 100m away. Also enjoy a wonderful view of the Barossa Valley.
This wouldn't take much of your time nor your budget since it's free!
