How would you like to be suspended 150 feet over a raging whirlpool--and not be in a theme park? The Whirlpool Aerocar in Niagara Falls, ON, has been carrying sightseers over the Niagara River rapids since 1916. It's a great ride. This aerial tramway carries you right out over the Niagara River until you are directly above the Whirlpool at the 90-degree bend in the river. Then, the Aerocar takes you out further still to a point where you can look upriver, towards the Whirlpool Rapids, and downriver. It's been around for a while, but it's still a thrill.
