Back in 1993 I had a chance to visit California. I visited Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco. By far my favorite was San Francisco. It's a beautiful and exciting city. There is so much to see and do. You have the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, The Presidio, Cable Cars, Cob Hill, China Town, Golden Gate Park, Lombard Street and there is so much more. We were only there for the weekend and we made the most of our time.
Our first day there it was foggy, cold, and wet and you needed to wear a sweat shirt. On the second day the sun was out and a t-shirt and shorts worked great. The weather changes very quickly. During our two week vacation we flew from Tampa to los Angeles. Rented a car and drove up to San Francisco which is a 8 hour drive. When you leave L.A. and drive over the mountains into the valley it warms up quickly. We were there in May. When you drive over the mountains into San Francisco it gets cool quicky.
