Well, I'm not telling you this to come to the old city of Casablanca, but I see it my duty to inform other people about places that I consider interesting in one of the biggest cities in Morocco, Casablanca the Moroccan capital of economics (in Morocco, of course). Hope you'll find the weather ok simply because it's an industrial city and it's not good as well as fresh air is concerned neither it is good when talking about calm and attracting nature. I'm so negative while talking about the city, but I guess it's better to say the truth thousands of times than to lie to other people. I'm a moslem, and moslems shouldn't lie or rather mustn't lie while advising other people nor in anyway of their speeches. Good luck for you all and have a great journey in Morocco. Casablanca is well know for its big companies, a city of business men and also great for people who enjoy night-life.

As soon as you get off the plane you’re smashed in the face by the different sights, landscape, smells, culture, fashion, attitudes… Everything is completely different. There’s a barrage of people at the airport selling accommodation, transportation, hashish, people trying to carry your bags, basically, anything you want if you’re willing… A Taste of Africa… |

When we landed, we looked at eachother excitedly and exclaimed, "We're in Africa!" I had a 'female moment' and teared up a little; fortunately, Matt is a doll and was very understanding of my moments throughout our journey together. I reach downtown where I need to find another digital camera. I trapse around the downtown commercial area and then down into the Old Medina shopping area for a look.
