What to do on a Spring or Fall Day
What to do on a Spring or Fall Day Tucson Reviews
When You are looking for something to do Apr 11, 2010
Have you ever tried so hard to find something to do on a day when you had nothing planned? Well, many have had such days. It is a sad day when one can't find something to do on a spring or fall day. Many spend so much time at work or parenting that they forget to look at what is right in front of them, right outside their window or in their backyard. Today was a perfect example of those days; here in Tucson, there are many people who really do not experience the typical Spring time as the high temperatures begin in February or March. By the time Spring comes, we are recording summer temperatures of 85 degrees and above.
Heading out the door on a day when you are looking for something to do is the first step to discovering the charms that are in your backyard. Walk out and let your feet take you wherever. Walking in itself is a healthy lifestyle choice besides the fact that it opens your eyes to the things that you do not normally see or avoid by working or staying indoors. In Tucson for example, walking out your door will most definitely lead you to see a variety of wild flowers blooming in the April month, cacti flowering in various colors, the mountain vegetation greener than in many months.
Africancrab and Desire encountered a couple and their three children picking flowers, the children seemed excited as they run through the field/park with small yet colorful wild flowers. Desire could not resist the urge to join them in the wild flower hunt. Not only did Desire enjoy the company of total strangers, Africancrab took to conversation with the parents of the children who turned out to be visiting from France. Who knew the French were right in the neighborhood? What is outside your window? How about in your neighborhood? Do you find optimism in taking to upbeat strangers? Well the Africancrab and her daughter enjoyed such a time on this rather quite and plan less Sunday.
