What a let down Travel Reviews

Just back from over rated Dublin. One word to sum it up " pit"
Streets are filthy, locals are rude and un helpful. In fact the only nice people there were the many immigrants working in pubs, hotels and shops. There is a strong nasty edge to the place. Travelled with an American friend who was abused twice for being a " thick Yank". I ( an Englishman) was also on the end of some un-friendly comments. In the 4 days there we witnessed 2 crimes direclty and heard of more from travellers in the hotel. Not once did I see a police man. Keep away from Dublin, if you want to see the real Ireland then get out of there and travel to the fantastic South and West of IReland which are nothing like Dublin |
