Whale Watching Sydney Reviews
Some advice that could save your outing ;) Oct 18, 2009
We had free vouchers to go to watch whale with True Blue Cruises. Normal price is 75$.
We left Darling Harbour around 9.30AM, went through Sydney Harbour to go to the ocean. The ocean went very choppy there...
Do not forget to take tablets not to be sick... 3/4 of the people were sick on the boat, some of them spent their whole time being sick instead of watching whales. What a waste of time and money!
We took tablets (Kwels as a friend adviced us) and were fine.
The outing lasted 4 hours in total. It was a good experience to watch whales, quite beautiful. We saw 6 of them, several times. They were very closed to the coast! The scenery from the ocean is also great.
I enjoyed the outing (except having people all around being sick... ^^), but I still honestly think it is expensive.
Another advice not to waste your stay after the whale watching : do not forget to put suncream. Even when it is not sunny, as it was the case when we went there, you can get sunburned!
