I cant believe I have just signed up for this!!!  This is an amazing race/touring event that runs from Budapest through Austria, Germany, Italy, France and Spain. Then across the med into Morocco, Western Sahara Region, Mauritania and finally to Bamako, the capital of Mali.  This was set up 3 years ago by some crazy Hungarians as a cheap alternative to the Paris Dakar race.  There will be teams leaving from London and maybe Bratislava.  The event is covered by the Travel...

These pictures dont really do this area justice. Its up on a hill overlooking Weymouth bay and across the bay with Portland in the distance. Its a very popular area to sit and just chill and take in the views. There is a great little cafe at the top, where they do a really good spanish omelette. Its just as good in the summer or winter.

The next stop was Weymouth. It really made me feel like holidays… The atmosphere was so special, relax and people so tanned! I just wandered around, but as it was already late, it was less animated than when I drove through few hours before, so I did not stay very long. It is a very cool place!   My summary Time spent there: 1 hour 1/2 Things to do: 8/10 (very animated, lot of activities on the beach and around, shops...)

May 14The very first of the training days, so it was an early wake up. But luckely I had a lift with Davina's mother to Weymouth. So it saved me the expenses for the train, which are quite an hassle.Everything went fine in this early mild morning drive, and the landscape of Dorset are just simply amazingly beautiful.
